Pinnacle is Carolyn Fabrics' house-brand cool-touch vinyl for marine and contract seating. It pairs a soft hand with a 1,500,000+ double-rub rating, broad application range, and 40 colors offered.

Why the extended test matters: Carolyn Fabrics had Pinnacle tested beyond the usual marine reporting point so a marine-capable vinyl would also carry the contract-scale published abrasion value many buyers and specifiers expect. Its 1.5-million-plus result is valuable laboratory documentation; it is not a claim that Pinnacle will last 7.5 times longer than Patriot Plus's currently published 200,000-cycle result. Note on mildew and pinking: These results describe the vinyl. In a finished seat, resistance to mildew and pinking also requires that the foam and other components be certified against the same problems. Uncertified foam is a common source of pinking and mildew in marine seating regardless of the vinyl used over it.
