Pinnacle passes AATCC 147-2011 for bacterial resistance, carries mildew resistance to AATCC 30-III and ASTM G21 Class 1, is anti-static to ASTM D257, holds Class 5 crocking wet and dry, and is cleanable with named hospital-grade disinfectants including Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, Optim 33TB, Accel Five TB, Virox 5, Oxivir Plus, Oxivir TB, Oasis 146, bleach and isopropyl alcohol, each published with a dilution ratio.

One caveat worth knowing up front: if your architect's submittal specifically names CFFA Spec 201-C healthcare stain resistance, CFFA-101 disinfectant-exposure testing, or a Greenguard / indoor-air-quality emissions certificate, Pinnacle does not currently carry those reports. It is not a disinfectant, it is not EPA-registered as one, it does not protect people, and it does not replace your facility's cleaning or infection-control protocol.

No intentionally added PFAS, PFOA or PFC. Pinnacle is also phthalate free, formaldehyde free, free of flame-retardant additives, heavy-metal free and Red List Free, and it is REACH, California Prop 65 and AB 2998 compliant. The plant is ISO 14001 certified. This is increasingly the part of the spec sheet that decides healthcare and institutional projects, and it is one of the strongest arguments for Pinnacle over comparable vinyls at this price.

It means Pinnacle was tested on the Wyzenbeek abrasion machine well past the point most marine vinyls stop reporting, so it carries a contract-scale published number. It is real laboratory documentation and it is why Pinnacle holds up in gym, restaurant and high-traffic seating.

It is not a promise of proportionally longer service life, and we will quote our own spec sheet against ourselves here: it states, directly under the abrasion figure, that results above 100,000 double rubs have not been shown to be an indicator of increased lifespan. Judge the material on the finish, the cleaning guidance, the mechanical tests and a physical sample as much as on the headline figure. Any supplier leaning entirely on a double-rub number is selling you the one spec that is easiest to inflate.

Three years, limited. Worth reading one condition: the mildew and pink-stain coverage applies only where any foam used in the seat is certified against the same problems. Cold crack to -67°F, IMO FTP Code 2010 Part 8 on file, mildew resistance to AATCC 30-III and ASTM G21 Class 1, pink-stain resistance tested to ASTM E1428-15a and warranted, and 14 weeks of accelerated ageing to ISO 1419 Method C. Staycool Technology runs up to 10% cooler in direct sunlight than traditional PVC fabrics, which matters on an open pontoon deck in July. Pair it with foam certified against mildew and pinking — that is both a warranty condition and the usual reason marine seating fails, whatever vinyl is over it.

Tensile strength 94 × 101 lb and seam slippage 64 × 67 lb, both ASTM D751. Tear strength 13 × 10 lb to ASTM D2261 and 12 × 10 lb to ASTM D751. Elongation 116% weft, 64% warp. Backing is 100% polyester and rip-resistant; the material runs 1.10 mm and 736 gsm. These are the numbers that predict whether a seam holds and whether a cover survives being stretched over a frame, and most competing sheets do not publish them at all.
