Built for Marine Use — Not Repurposed Indoor Vinyl

Every boat seat panel we sew starts with real marine-grade vinyl — UV-stable, mold and mildew resistant, waterproof, and rated for outdoor marine exposure. We stock full lines from Spradling and Morbern, including popular marine lines like Navigator (pebble grain), Islander (light grain classic), Marlin (OEM leather-look), and Breeze (cool-touch technology that stays cooler in direct sun).

The material matters as much as the pattern. A quilted panel sewn with indoor contract vinyl will break down on a boat within a season. Our marine vinyl is the same product used by commercial boat builders — it handles sun, salt, rain, and constant wet/dry cycles.

Where These Panels Go

Bass boat and fishing boat seats — bench seats, pedestal seats, fold-down seats. Diamond and double diamond patterns are the most popular for fishing boats.

Pontoon furniture — captain's chairs, lounges, bench backs, L-shaped seating sections. Larger pontoon jobs often need multiple panels — request a quote for multi-panel orders.

Ski boat and wakeboard interiors — observer seats, rear bench, side panels. Shops doing ski boat work often pair panels with 4-way stretch marine vinyl for curved surfaces.

Helm chairs, bolsters, and leaning posts — anywhere on a boat that has upholstered seating or padding.

Why Marine Shops Order Panels from Us

Panels and material from the same vendor. Order your stitched panels and buy matching marine vinyl yardage in the same checkout. One shipment, one tracking number. No trying to match colors across suppliers.

Consistent results across a fleet. Running the same pattern on 10 identical seats? CNC-sewn panels come out the same every time — stitch spacing, alignment, and tension are locked in by the machine.

Saves hours per seat. Diamond quilting a full boat seat by hand takes real time. A pre-sewn panel arrives ready to wrap — you spend your time on the install, not the sewing.

Cool-touch option for hot-climate boats. Pair any pattern with Spradling Breeze — our cool-touch marine vinyl with heat-reflective pigment technology. Seats stay significantly cooler in direct sunlight, especially in dark colors.

How to Order Boat Seat Panels

Step 1 — Choose your stitch pattern. Browse 30+ patterns — diamond, double diamond, hexagon, channel, herringbone, and more. Diamond patterns are the most common for marine work, but hex and channel are gaining ground.

Step 2 — Pick your marine vinyl. Select from our full marine vinyl stock — 50+ colors across Navigator, Islander, Marlin, Breeze, Prodigy, and more. All 54 inches wide, all marine-rated.

Step 3 — Select thread and foam. 34 thread colors — match your vinyl or go with a contrast stitch. Add 1/4″ or 3/8″ sew foam for padded depth.

Step 4 — Order or request a quote. Standard 48×28 finished panels can be ordered directly. For multi-panel jobs, custom sizes, or volume pricing, request a quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size are the boat seat panels?
Standard panels are 48×28 inches finished — large enough to cover most bass boat seats, pontoon cushion sections, and helm chair surfaces. For larger sections or custom dimensions, request a quote.

Is the vinyl actually marine-grade?
Yes. We sew with the same marine vinyl used by commercial boat builders — Spradling and Morbern marine lines. UV-stable, mold/mildew resistant, waterproof, rated for full outdoor marine exposure.

Can I get a panel that stays cooler in the sun?
Yes. Choose Spradling Breeze as your material — it uses heat-reflective pigment technology to stay noticeably cooler than standard marine vinyl, especially in dark colors. See our cool-touch marine vinyl collection.

What patterns work best for boat seats?
Diamond and double diamond are the most popular for marine. Hex patterns and channels are increasingly common on pontoon builds. Browse all 30+ patterns to see what fits your project.

Can I order matching vinyl yardage with my panels?
Yes — and we recommend it. Add marine vinyl by the yard and matching thread to the same checkout. Everything ships together from our warehouse in High Point, NC.

How fast do boat seat panels ship?
Standard panels ship in 1–3 business days. Multi-panel or custom orders may take slightly longer — we will confirm lead time when you request a quote.
