Product Details

Vintage is a soft-hand contract vinyl by Nassimi with a distressed, satin-to-matte leather appearance. It is one of the softest, most leather-like vinyls Carolyn offers and lightens in color as it stretches, creating a true pull-up effect.

Best for: Boutique restaurants, craft breweries, hotel bars, automotive and RV interiors, and residential upholstery where aged-leather character is the point.

Know before you order: Vintage is the only vinyl in Carolyn's current assortment that lightens in color as it stretches. That is an intentional part of the look, not a defect.

Choose another vinyl if: Maximum abrasion is the main priority—compare Spirit Millennium. For a glossy vintage look with a higher published abrasion rating, compare English Pub.

Start with mild soap and water, then rinse and wipe dry. Formula 409 is supported by Nassimi's product-specific care guide. A 10% household-bleach solution may be used when needed; rinse with clean water and dry.

Clean with mild soap and water or approved vinyl cleaner. Wipe dry after cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners, strong solvents, or scrub pads. Test stronger disinfecting products in an inconspicuous area first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Vintage get lighter when I stretch it?

That's the pull-up effect, and it's on purpose. Vintage lightens where it stretches, the way aged leather does. It is not a defect. It's the only vinyl we carry that does this.

Where does Vintage work best?

Restaurants, breweries, hotel bars, auto and RV interiors and home furniture where you want a worn-leather look. If abrasion is the main concern, look at Spirit Millennium instead.

What are the specs?

54 inches wide, 36 oz per linear yard, 100,000+ double rubs (ASTM D4157), cold crack minus 20°F, 300 hours lightfastness (AATCC 16.3). Flame: CAL TB 117-2013, FMVSS 302, NFPA 260 and UFAC Class I.

Is there a minimum order?

No. It's sold by the yard in 1-yard increments, so you can order a single yard. Volume pricing starts at 5 yards of the same color.
