Product Overview

Let's face it, we have all roasted our buns on some hot vinyl leather at some point. Nothing like getting into a dark interior car in the middle of the summer after it has been baking in the sun all day right? Our newest addition Stay Cool looks to help put darker colors back on the menu for outdoor use. This means that boats, atv, jetski, golf carts, cars, or even outdoor seating can now use colors other than white and beige. We are talking up to a 30 degree difference in temperature! This doesn't mean that your black vinyl is going to feel ice cold in the middle of the summer, but it does mean that your seat will be 130 degrees in the sun instead of 170.

When to use this over our normal Marine Vinyl

So the real question is when and why should I use this material over normal marine vinyl? Stay Cool is our top of the line marine vinyl and boast 100,000 double rubs (compared to the 30,000 our basic marine offeres). It is actually Denim Dye cleanable as well. In case you don't know, sweaty damn denim jeans tend to leave perminant stains on fabrics. The real reason to use it though is it's ability to stay much cooler in direct sunlight. So if you are looking to stray away from the typical white, light grey, or beige material that most boats or outdoor products come standard with, Stay Cool is the best option.

Cleaning

-We recommend cleaning at least once a week to extend the lifespan of the
upholstery, preventing dirt and contamination from building up and stains from
becoming permanent. If there is a spill, wipe off any excess right away with a dry
white cloth or fabric, but don’t spread it all over the surface.

-Clean the whole surface in circular motions using liquid hand soap (pH neutral)
and water (1 part soap to 9 parts water). Check the guide for recommended
cleaning products. Wipe with a clean damp cloth to get rid of any excess soap.
Repeat as needed and then let dry.

-If there is any build-up that can’t be removed with soapy water, use as a last
resort the following mixture: 1 part isopropyl alcohol to 9 parts water.
(Remember, using alcohol on a regular basis can affect the properties of the
product).

-Once a month, you can use a soft-bristle brush for a deeper cleaning.
Remember, light colours need more care, more often.
